Provided are a signal transmission method and device. The method comprises: receiving N common public radio interface (CPRI) signals sent by a first device, the CPRI signal being a signal obtained by packaging an intermediate frequency signal according to a CPRI protocol, and N being an integer greater than or equal to one; determining M intermediate frequency signals according to the N CPRI signals, the M intermediate frequency signals comprising all the intermediate frequency signals extracted from the N CPRI signals, and M being an integer greater than or equal to N; allocating a frequency point to each intermediate frequency signal of the M intermediate frequency signals and modulating each intermediate frequency signal to the frequency point allocated to each intermediate frequency signal to obtain a first signal, wherein frequency points allocated to different intermediate frequency signals are different; combining M first signals and performing digital-to-analogue conversion on same to determine a first combined signal, the first combined signal being an analogue electric signal; and transmitting the first combined signal to a second device. The embodiments of the present invention can effectively reduce the consumption of a transmission cable. |
