PURPOSE: A blood sugar measuring method is provided to measure the blood sugar in real-time effectively and simply by using CMOS image sensor and a portable blood sugar measuring unit. CONSTITUTION: A blood sugar measuring unig (100) comprises the first substrate having an optical permeability and forms a reaction area connected to a block inlet domain entering the blood, the second substrate having the optical permeability and forms a blood passage for entering blood to pass through, and a reacting agent distributing the entered blood to react with the blood sugar at the reacting area. The blood sugar measuring method comprises the following steps. By using CMOS image sensor (5) a photon number penetrating the blood sugar measuring unit is measured. The blood is injected to the blood sugar measuring unit. The blood injected to the blood sugar measuring unit is reacted with a reaction agent included in the blood sugar measuring unit. The photon number penetrating the blood sugar measuring unit using CMOS image sensor is measured again.
