PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital modulating device for modulating base band signal data by a carrier wave with arbitrary frequencies, and for outputting a modulated signal without using any oscillator for a carrier wave, multiplier, or adder. SOLUTION: A storage means 32 inputs a counted value 13, co-phase base band signal data 19, orthogonal base band signal data 20, and carrier wave frequency selection signal 17 to a reading address, and stores orthogonal modulated signal data obtained by orthogonally modulating the co-phase and orthogonal base band signal data by a carrier wave with frequencies to be selected. Then, the orthogonal modulated signal data which are orthogonally modulated by the carrier wave with frequencies selected by the modulation frequency selection signal 17 are outputted from the storage means 32, and the outputted orthogonal modulated signal data are converted into an analog signal by a D/A converting means 15, and outputted as an orthogonal modulated signal 25. |
