PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a rubber molding (non-foamed or foamed) suitable for a weather strip and others by extrusion. SOLUTION: A method for producing a rubber molding by extrusion comprises a process for extruding a resin such as a polymethyl pentene resin with which the periphery of rubber is coated, a process for fixing the shape of the resin by cooling (sizing), a process for primary vulcanization by high frequency, a process for stripping off the coating resin part of an outer layer, and a process for secondary vulcanization. Owing to the good dimensional precision of a cross-sectional shape and good shape holding properties, burrs necessary in the extrusion molding of a rubber product having a complex shape such as a weather strip are made unnecessary.
