PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band applicator capable of performing a superior printing of stable quality and applying a band under a state in which a rotation of a feeding part does not apply any bad influence during printing on a band sheet. SOLUTION: This is a band applicator in which a band sheet (a) is printed, the band sheet is fed out in a loop form with feed rollers 5a, 5b so as to enclose a product mounting part, the extremity end of the band sheet is fixed, its opposite side is pulled back to squeeze an initial loop into a loop extending along the outer circumference of the product, a portion overlapping on the extremity end of the band sheet is adhered and at the same time cut to apply the band sheet onto the product. This band applicator comprises a thermal head 23 and a platen roller 24 for printing on the band sheet, a printing part 4 provided with a printing part depressing means for approaching or moving away the thermal head and the platen roller and a pair of upper and lower rollers. There are provided a feed part 5 having a feed part depressing means for approaching or moving away both rollers and a control means for moving away the pair of upper and lower rollers at the feed part during a printing operation for the band sheet with the printing part.
