PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking device enabling both of reduction of supersensitive response and the reduction of delay in response with regard to operation of a brake operation member. SOLUTION: The braking device for supplying controlled braking pressure from an accumulator 3 in which hydraulic pressure of working fluid is accumulated based on target control quantity is provided with a target control quantity setting means 36 for setting the target control quantity according to the operation of the brake operation member 2, and a target control quantity limiting means 37 for limiting target control quantity based on a detection value of an operation detecting means (5, 8, 21, 20) for detecting the operation of the braking operation member 2.
