WELDING TORCH AND WELDING SYSTEM USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding torch capable of efficiently cooling a zone near a weld zone and suppressing thermal distortion of a metallic material to be welded. SOLUTION: The welding torch 1 for welding a metallic material 9 is composed of a bar shaped electrode 2 provided in the center and a shielding gas nozzle 3 which is installed around the electrode 2 and which jets a shielding gas 4 in the direction of the metallic material 9. A cooling gas nozzle 5 is installed in a manner surrounding the shielding gas nozzle 3, with a cooling gas passage 5a formed inside, and jets a cooling gas 6 from a cooling gas jetting port 5b in the direction of the metallic material 9. The cooling gas 6 blown out from the cooling gas jetting port 5b of the cooling gas nozzle 5 cools the zone near the weld zone 13 of the metallic material 9. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
