A method of determining transmission antenna is provided. The method includes: Base station receives CQI of every antenna feeded back by terminal; According to magnitude relation of every transmission antenna's CQI, base station determines antenna process order, transmission mode and transmission antenna under every transmission mode. A system of determining transmission antenna combination is also disclosed. The system includes mobile terminal and base station. The feedback received by the base station that come from the terminal only includes CQI and does not include antenna process order. Therefore, feedback information is reduced. The capability of channel transmission data is improved in the same channel bandwidth. Then system performance is increased.
