<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a multiple image and unsharpness caused by cross talk from occurring. <P>SOLUTION: The stereoscopic image display device includes a two-dimensional display device 1 having a display surface where a plurality of images are arranged in a matrix state, and a light beam control element 2 which is provided on the front of the display surface of the two-dimensional display device, where a plurality of lenses are arranged side by side and which controls a light beam from a pixel. The two-dimensional display device is constituted to display black on an element image of one parallax out of element images of every two parallaxes when two or more element images less than three are emitted in one parallactic direction if the position of a part of or all of a stereoscopic image is on a side nearer to an observer than a position showing a projecting limit value Z<SB>no</SB>or if it is on a side farther from the observer than a position showing a depth limit value Z<SB>fo</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
