<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use a stacking space of sheets. <P>SOLUTION: A sheet stacking apparatus 100 comprises: grippers 114a, 114b carrying a sheet; stacker trays 112a, 112b respectively stacking different sheets carried from the grippers thereon; and support members 131a, 131b respectively elevating the stacker trays.
