PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely box articles relatively heavy in weight or the relatively large number of articles in a finely arranged state. SOLUTION: In a boxing apparatus, a predetermined number of articles to be arranged are sandwiched and held between holding portions 9 from both lengthwise sides of the arrangement, and the articles sandwiched between holding portions 9 are pressed from above by a pressing portion 14 to be packed into an outer box 2. The pressing portion 14 is provided with a partition part 57 which interposed between articles held by the holding portions 9 in an arranged state and is subjected to force for sandwiching from both sides of the holding plates 9.
