TRANSMISSION RELAY SYSTEM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission relay system capable of reducing processing loads upon a host computer with respect to information from a plurality of input/output terminals connected which increase as a capacity of a system or device increases.

SOLUTION: In a system combining a plurality of input/output terminals and a host computer by an Ethernet(R) LAN, the transmission relay system reduces the processing loads upon the host computer by giving at least one input/output terminal among the plurality of input/output terminals a function as a virtual repeating server to disperse the processing loads on the host computer, such as a protection/control system of a power system or a remote monitoring control system, to the input/output terminal device having the virtual repeating server function.
