PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nuclear reactor in-core instrumentation system capable of easily monitoring the impedance increase of a signal return line serving as one cause of noise resistance reduction in the in-core instrumentation system. SOLUTION: The signal return-side line of the in-core instrumentation system is provided with a plurality of terminals for connecting other signal lines different from a signal cable. A signal line, a connection switch, and an impedance measuring means consisting of a power supply, a current measuring means, and a signal processing circuit are interconnected in a closed circuit shape between two terminals of one or a plurality of selected terminals. The in-core instrumentation system has a means for measuring the impedance of the closed circuit in a connecting state where the connection switch is closed, displaying and storing the value, and outputting it to a diagnosing function.
