PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device for leaked light, capable of automating inspection of a leaked light from a light source of a display part adjacent to an inspection display part to an inspection transmission part. SOLUTION: This inspection device 10 for leaked light to inspect the leaked light from the light source 52 of the display part 4b adjacent to the inspection display part 4a to the inspection transmission part 41a is provided with: an imaging means 12 for photographing the inspection display part 4a under the condition where an inspection light source 51 lights on, to acquire light-on image information A, and for photographing the inspection display part 4a under the condition where the inspection light source 51 is turned off and where the light source 52 lights on, to acquire turn-off image information B; a specifying means 11 for specifying the inspection transmission part 41a in the turn-off image information B, by reading the light-on image information A and the turn-off image information B in, and by aligning and superposing the light-on image information A with the turn-off image information B; and a determination means 11 for reading lightness information of the inspection transmission part 41a specified in the turn-off image information B, and for determining the quality of the leaked light, based on the lightness information.
