PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motion rolling guide unit with a lower face seal free of fall-off from a slider. SOLUTION: The linear motion rolling guide unit comprises the slider S having a pair of end caps 2 fixed to both ends of a casing 1, and the lower face seal 6 bridged between the pair of end caps 2. The end caps 2 have fitting protruded portions 12, and the lower seal 6 has insertion holes 10. The fitting protruded portions 12 are fitted to the insertion holes 10 to fix the lower seal 6 to the slider S. The lower face seal 6 has fall-off preventing protrusions 9 at both longitudinal end faces, and the slider S has holding portions 14 each consisting of a hole or a recess into which the fall-off preventing protrusion 9 enters in the state of fixing the lower face seal 6 to the slider S. A clearance is kept between the hole or the recess as part of the holding portion 14 and the outer periphery of the fall-off preventing protrusion 9. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
