PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid valve capable of suppressing magnetic flux from flowing to an end turn part of a coil spring. SOLUTION: The solenoid valve is equipped with a coil for forming a magnetic field when energized, a yoke composed of a magnetic material storing the coil, an armature that is a magnetic body disposed on the inner peripheral side of the yoke, a plunger that is a magnetic body disposed with a predetermined gap from the armature and attracted by the armature when the coil is energized, and the coil spring that is a magnetic body disposed between the armature and the plunger for urging the plunger in a valve closing direction. A recessed part for storing an end of the coil spring is formed at an abutting part of the plunger and the coil spring of the armature, and the depth of the recessed part is made deeper than the end turn part of the coil spring.
