The piezoelectric motor 10 has: a vibrating section 1 that generates longitudinal vibration and bending vibration; and a driven section 5 that is driven by the bending vibration of the vibrating section 1. The piezoelectric motor 10 moves the movable member 60 by the vibrating section 1 driving the driven section 5. The driving signal supply section 30 supplies a driving signal to the vibrating section 1. The drive device 100 can shift from a non-driving state in which a driving signal is not supplied to the vibrating section 1, to a teaching mode in which the vibrating section 1 is made to generate longitudinal vibration.
