PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long material winding reel possible to be folded for storage and transportation and, on the other hand, easy to be carried and possible to be stably piled in the state of winding up the long material. SOLUTION: This long material winding reel comprises a reel barrel 11 and a pair of flanges 20. Both of terminal parts 41 of a plurality of coupling members 40 are respectively fixed onto a predetermined circumference of opposite surfaces of the flanges 20, and the pair of flanges 20 are coupled to each other freely to be switched between a folding position wherein the pair of flanges 20 approach each other with the coupling member 40 between them and a separating position wherein they are separated from each other at a predetermined distance. The reel barrel 11 is formed from a sheet-like member 12, and formed into a cylindrical shape by winding it along the periphery of the plurality of coupling members 40 in the state of arranging the pair of flanges 20 in the separating position.
