PURPOSE: An internet based content transceiving method and a transceiving apparatus using the same are provided to efficiently configure storage or transmission object content through various types of data by including playing related priority information in the file format or the transmission format of the content trasnceived through the internet. CONSTITUTION: A transmission apparatus converts content stored into a file format (100) into a transmission format (200). The transmission apparatus transmits the content converted into the transmission format through an internet protocol packet. At least one among the file format and the transmission format includes priority information. The priority information indicates whether data configuring the content is played as default.
