A bookshelf with a mothball storage space is provided to prevent papers of the books from being damaged when books are collided with mothballs, and to prevent the mothballs from being pushed away from the bookshelf when putting the books into the bookshelf or taking out the books from the bookshelf. A bookshelf with a mothball storage space integrally comprises a vertical wooden part(100) and a steel part. The steel part includes a horizontal steel part and a vertical steel part(202). The vertical steel part has a mothball storage space formed therein. The vertical steel part has a plurality of small holes perforated in the side thereof to smoothly circulate air through the holes when mothballs are stored in the mothball storage space. The vertical steel part has a mothball bag inlet(400) formed in a top part thereof, and a plastic cap(300) is inserted into the mothball bag inlet to close the mothball storage space.
