A method for manufacturing an elastic printing master, and the elastic printing master prepared by the method are provided to allow the size of an ink accommodation groove to be controlled to the precision of 1 micrometer. A method for manufacturing an elastic printing master(40) comprises the steps of preparing a master electrodeposited plate where a plurality of space parts are formed in a metal plate of a conductor by an electrodeposition metal layer through the electroforming process; forming a model plate having the projection part corresponding to the each space part of the master electrodeposition plate; and coating an elastic body(43) to the one side of the model plate to obtain an elastic printing master where an ink accommodation groove(41) corresponding to the projection part of the model plate.
