A foot rest apparatus for a vehicle is provided to prevent an ankle of a driver from being damaged by adding a semi-cylindrical reinforcing member in a foot rest main body and minimizing the deformation due to the interference of reinforcing members. A foot rest apparatus for a vehicle is composed of a foot rest body(30) arranged to be inclined at a floor panel and a dash panel of a vehicle, a housing members(40) which are arranged at one side of the floor panel so that a part of the foot rest main body is inserted and moved, and a plurality of semi-cylindrical reinforcing member(50) which is arranged at the other side of the foot rest main body. The plane of the reinforcing member contacts with the incline of the foot rest main body, and the housing member has a slot hole(41).
