PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can prevent a reduction in exhaust function of an exhaust duct even when an attachment/detachment operation of a detachable unit is performed.SOLUTION: There is provided an image forming apparatus comprising a photoreceptor unit 10 that is detachably provided to an apparatus body; an exhaust duct 20 (20, 21) that forms an exhaust passage for guiding an air in the photoreceptor unit 10 to the outside of the apparatus body; and sealants 23 and 24 that can tightly seal gaps of connection parts between the photoreceptor unit 10 and the exhaust duct 20, the image forming apparatus including contact/separation mechanisms, such as an L angle 27 and a spring 28 that rotate the exhaust duct 21 on a swing shaft 26 in conjunction with an attachment/detachment operation of the photoreceptor unit 10, so as to cause the exhaust duct 21 to contact/separate from the photoreceptor unit 10 in a direction different from the attachment/detachment direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
