PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time synchronization system for selecting a master unit delivering the time of better quality in synchronous state.SOLUTION: In a time synchronization system having a plurality of master units 101_1, 101_2 having a reference clock, and a slave unit 102 for synchronizing the clock of own device with the reference clock of any one of the plurality of master units, the master unit has a message generation unit for generating a line quality message including information indicating the quality of time, and a communication unit for transmitting the line quality message to a slave unit. The slave unit has a selection unit for selecting a master unit of higher time quality out of plurality of master units, by comparing the information indicating the quality of time included in a plurality of line quality messages received, from the plurality of master units, and a control unit for synchronizing the clock of own device with the reference clock of a master unit selected by the selection unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
