PURPOSE: A reinforced earth retaining structure using a reinforcement unit and an underground excavation method using the same are provided to secure a sufficient underground space in which an earthflow plate, an soldier pile sheet panel, and the reinforcement unit are not collapsed toward an excavating work and which does not cause any trouble to an excavating work, thereby improving construction ability. CONSTITUTION: An underground excavation method using a reinforced earth retaining structure comprises the following steps. Soldier piles (10) are installed with a fixed interval; and connected to soldier pile insertion units into which sheet panel protrusion units are inserted. The sheet panel protrusion unit (20) is formed by inserting the sheet panel protrusion unit and a compressed supporting plate protrusion unit into the sheet panel insertion unit. The earthflow plate (30) or the soldier pile is supported by the reinforcement unit. The reinforcement unit includes a strut (60) where both ends are additionally combined with the earthflow plate which is faced with the reinforcement unit. |
