The present invention relates to a quantitative analysis method of tin contained in indium tin oxide (ITO). The quantitative analysis method of tin contained in ITO comprises: a step of dissolving ITO in hydrochloric acid, and then manufacturing a solution by filtering; a step of adding ammonia water to the solution to have a hydrogen ion concentration (pH) of 7-8 to produce metal hydroxide; a step of washing the metal hydroxide using pure water; a step of applying a nitrate solution to the metal hydroxide washed using pure water to produce metastannic acid (H_2SnO_3); a step of washing the metastannic acid using the nitrate solution; a step of inserting the metastannic acid washed using nitric acid into a porcelain crucible with a known weight, and applying the nitrate solution to intensely heat the metastannic acid to measure mass of remaining tin oxide (SnO_2); and a step of using the measured mass of the tin oxide to calculate a weight percent content of tin contained in ITO. The quantitative analysis method of tin according to the present invention can accurately measure a content of tin existing in ITO at a ratio of several weight percent. |
