The present invention addresses the problem that a release time lag increases because an energizing member needs to be charged when a travel operation is initiated. In this imaging device, on the basis of the output of a first signal, a control means drives a motor in a first direction such that a cam member charges an energizing member, whereafter the control means controls the driving of the motor such that the cam member is stopped when the energizing member is in a charged state. On the basis of the output of a second signal, the control means drives the motor in a second direction, which is opposite the first direction, such that the cam member is driven by the energizing force of the energizing member and the driving force of the motor, and an engagement unit drives a first section, whereafter, without using the energizing force of the energizing member, the cam member is driven by the driving force of the motor, and the engagement unit drives a second section. |
