The invention relates to a method for evaluating train-to-wayside communication and to a device for implementing said method, where the method comprises the steps of: generating an electrical reference signal; generating an electrical noise and interference signal; mixing the electrical reference signal with the electrical noise and interference signal; introducing the mixed electrical signal into a magnetic loop (19, 26) in order to obtain a combined signal (20) which is sent to the antenna (3) of the receiving device (2); and evaluating whether the receiving device (2) has processed the combined signal (20).
