PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peeler capable of speedily and reliably peeling the peel of the stem of wild vegetables without requiring dangerous operation. SOLUTION: Spring pieces 2 for insert-holding the upper part of the stem 10 of wild vegetables by holding energisation inside are plurally erected by keeping an interval G in the upper peripheral direction of a cylinder 1 for putting the stem 10 of a wild vegetable. Handles 3 corresponding to the spring pieces 2 are respectively pivotally attached to the outside of the cylinder 1. A pawl piece 5 for entering inside by climbing over the upper end of each spring piece 2 is provided at the tip of each handle 3, and each handle 3 is provided with an energizing member 8 energized with the piece 5 inwardly to spread outward the pieces 2 engaged by the pieces 5 by the operation of the handle 3.
