<p>This optical communication module includes a control unit (21), nonvolatile memory (22), and volatile memory (23). The control unit (21) monitors the optical communication module, and repeatedly receives, from a host substrate, log information relating to a state of the host substrate. The control unit (21) stores, in the volatile memory (23), the log information with the results of the optical communication module monitoring. In the cases where hazard signals that indicate an abnormality relating to a power supply of the host substrate are detected, the control unit (21) writes, in the nonvolatile memory (22), the results of the optical communication module monitoring and the log information obtained from the host substrate.</p> |
