<p>A hip assembly for a roof of a glazed building comprising a hip bar (1) in the form of an extrusion of an inverted 'T' shaped section symmetric about a central web (5), and glazing bars (6) connected to the hip bar (1) by means of a hip connector (2). An internal hip capping (14) is fitted to beneath the hip bar (1), and a bottom cap (10) in the form of extruded sections, is fitted to the glazing bars (6). A hip cap (11) is connected to the hip bar (1) above the hip bar. The hip bar (11) and the hip capping (14), in use, contact a glazing panel to effect a weather-tight seal.</p> |
