<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine and a simulation program capable of making a player be conscious of participating in a game. <P>SOLUTION: The game machine is provided with a performance display means for displaying one of a plurality of ready-to-win performance contents for reporting that there is the possibility that a game state becomes a specified game state advantageous to the player in a prescribed performance display area (display area (a)). The game machine is provided with a candidate display means for displaying candidate information respectively corresponding to the ready-to-win performance contents in a prescribed candidate display area and a ready-to-win performance content selection means for allowing the player to select from among the plurality of the ready-to-win performance contents on the basis of the candidate information displayed in the prescribed candidate display area.
