<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of this type of conventional moisture-conditioning devices, such that the temperature of a moisture absorbent slowly rises in a water desorption process and that it takes long time to reach a water desorption temperature. <P>SOLUTION: The moisture-conditioning device is equipped with an expanded metal 11 capable of generating heat by energization and a moisture absorbent layer 13 formed on the surface of the expanded metal 11. When water is adsorbed to the moisture absorbent layer 13, electricity is not applied to the expanded metal 11. When water is desorbed from the moisture absorbent layer 13, electricity is applied to the expanded metal 11. Accordingly, in the moisture-conditioning device that can be provided herein, the moisture absorbent layer 13 formed on the surface of the expanded metal 11 is directly heated by heat conduction from the expanded metal 11 so as to realize a quick temperature rise, and the temperature distribution becomes uniform because the expanded metal 11 and the moisture absorbent layer 13 are in close contact. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
