PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the maintainability of a cleaning member for cleaning a belt member and to prevent a peripheral device from being soiled by toner fallen in maintenance care. SOLUTION: A belt cleaner 10a can be separated from an intermediate transfer belt 10 in a main body frame 1c. First and second guide rails 72a and 72b slidably guiding the belt cleaner 10a are provided on the cleaner frame 72, and also a toner falling preventing pan 72c is provided thereon.
