PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent harmful effects on a subject and an endoscope apparatus when an infrared ray cut filter is damaged. SOLUTION: A diaphragm 26 and a lamp 22 are provided on the endoscope apparatus, and the infrared ray cut filter 25 is disposed between the diaphragm 26 and the lamp 22. A conducting membrane is formed on the surface of the infrared ray cut filter 25. Then, the conducting membrane is constituted as a part of a signal circuit for driving a dimming circuit 28. A positioning plate 29 for positioning the diaphragm 26 at a light blocking position where beams of light are blocked by a light shielding plate is also provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
