PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio telecontrol system capable of preventing wasteful consumption of energy for air conditioner operation by limiting or stopping operation of an air conditioner when a door or a window of a room furnished with the air conditioner is opened. SOLUTION: When air conditioner operation is turned on by remote control via a communication line (S7), room temperature data is acquired and stored, and a room temperature variation per unit time during air conditioner operation is stored (S10). Since a room temperature variation reference value during air conditioner operation is calculated and stored on the basis of several room temperature variations, in comparison of a room temperature variation with the room temperature variation reference value (S12), if the room temperature variation is less than the room temperature variation reference value, it is judged that a window or a door installed with an indoor unit is opened, a remote controller transmits to turn off air conditioner operation (S13), and the purport is notified to a remote control source (S14).
