PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle headlamp capable of restraining generation of color aberration and forming a suitable light-distribution pattern.SOLUTION: A vehicle headlamp includes semiconductor light-emitting elements 17 used as a light source, and a projection lens 19 for projecting light emitted from the semiconductor light-emitting elements and irradiating it outside from an irradiation surface 21. At least a central portion on the irradiation surface of the projection lens is formed as a first control portion 21a, and at least a part of an outer peripheral portion on the irradiation surface is formed as a second control portion 21b. Light emitted from a light-emitting point V on an optical axis P passing through a focal point F of the projection lens is irradiated from the first control portion as parallel light parallel to the optical axis, and is irradiated to the outside from the second control portion relative to a line segment parallel to the optical axis. At least the first control portion of the projection lens is formed as a light diffusion portion 23 for diffusing light. |
