PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To feed beads to a filter forming machine in a cigarette industry system at a higher speed than a conventional bead feeder.SOLUTION: A bead feeder includes a bead container 2A, a bead feeding unit 3 provided with a plurality of channels 4 for supplying a plurality of bead streams, and a bead transfer unit 13 for transferring beads to a filter material. The beads 2 are supplied from the bead container 2A to the plurality of channels 4 of the bead feeding unit 3 including holding pockets.
