PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooing device not bulky, easy to materialize, having no risk of leak, and not requiring regular maintenance and inspection work. SOLUTION: The cooling device for cooling electrical or electronic equipment 12 in a turbomachine 10, such as a unit for controlling actuators for variable-geometry elements, comprises at least one vortex tube 14 having an inlet 18 connected to means for feeding pressurized air taken from an element 16 of the turbomachine, and a cold air outlet 24 connected to means 50 for cooling the electrical equipment 12.
