PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor which can hold a brush holder easily and stably. SOLUTION: In a state that a brush holder 30 abuts against an abutting portion 13h in a motor housing 13, the brush holder 30 is pressed to the abutting portion 13h side by a pressing portion Sa formed as a resilient member between a gear housing 40 as a closing member. Consequently, the brush holder 30 can be held with no chattering. When the brush holder 30 is attached, the holder is housed in the motor housing 13 to abut against the abutting portion 13h and then the pressing portion Sa and the gear housing 40 are simply attached to the housing 13.
