<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relieve a user from troublesome operations by automatically finishing the i-mode at the same time at the end of an i-mode application. <P>SOLUTION: When the end button is depressed while the mobile terminal is connected to the Internet (including connection to the Internet 4 and site browsing in the i-mode) or at the end of the transmission or reception of e-mails, the control unit 11 finishes the i-mode if the AP automatic end mode is "ON" or continues the i-mode if it is "OFF" in a finished state mode area 18.
