PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a fiber-reinforced composite material formed body, in which at the top end of a side plate part to be raised from a flat plate part, the density of a reinforcing fiber on the outside of the top end can be restrained from becoming lower than that of the reinforcing fiber on the inside thereof so that the side plate part having higher strength can be formed.SOLUTION: The method for producing the fiber-reinforced composite material formed body, which includes: the flat plate part; and the side plate part to be raised from a side edge part of the flat plate part so that the curvature radius of the outer peripheral part thereof becomes 5 mm or smaller, comprises: a stacking step of stacking sheet-shaped prepreg base materials 12 to one another to obtain a prepreg-stacked body 10; a cutting step of cutting the edge 10a of the prepreg-stacked body 10, which edge is used for forming the side plate part so that the front end face 10b of the cut edge 10a is tilted toward a specific direction; and a forming step of heating/pressurizing the edge-cut prepreg-stacked body 10 while bending the cut edge 10a to obtain the fiber-reinforced composite material formed body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
