PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong the life of a tool in skiving processing.SOLUTION: A power skiving processing method includes, during first power skiving processing, the step of advancing a power skiving tool to a first cutting depth in a workpiece 50 to pre-process the tooth surface of the periodic structure of the workpiece 50, and the step of designating the second effective axis intersection angle (Σff) of the power skiving tool with respect to the workpiece 50, the step of executing the second power skiving processing of the workpiece 50 by using the designated second effective axis intersection angle (Σ), and during the second power skiving processing, the step of advancing the power skiving tool to the last cutting depth in the workpiece 50 to further process the tooth surface of the periodic structure of the workpiece 50, and a first effective axis intersection angle (Σ) is different from the second effective axis intersection angle (Σ).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3A |
