PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crack detection device for insulating plate capable of detecting cracks on a single insulating plate.SOLUTION: A crack detection device includes: a stress application jig 2, which has an insulating plate 1a, a first conductive plate 1b on one plane of insulating plate 1a and a second conductive plate 1c on the other plane of the insulating plate 1a, applies a bending stress to an insulating plate 1; a power source 5 for applying a voltage across the first conductive plate 1b and the second conductive plate 1c; an ampere meter 8 for measuring a value of current flowing across the first conductive plate 1b and the second conductive plate 1c; and a determination device 9 that determines existence/absence of cracks in the insulating plate 1 based on the value measured by the ampere meter 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
