The present invention relates to a control valve for a breaker, which is installed in a valve room (VR) to switch a direction of fluid flow, comprising: a valve housing (300), a valve spool (200), and a valve plug (100). A first stepped surface (210) communicates with a fourth passage (P4) and a fifth passage (P5) on the lowermost descent position of the valve spool (200). A second stepped surface (220) communicates with the fourth passage (P4) on the uppermost ascent position of the valve spool (200). A third stepped surface (210) communicates with a second passage (P2) and a third passage (P3) on the lowermost descent position of the valve spool (200), and communicates with the third passage (P3) on the uppermost ascent position of the valve spool (200). The first stepped surface (210) is formed to be inclined toward a first pressure surface (211), and the second stepped surface (220) is formed to be inclined toward a second pressure surface (221). Accordingly, since a direction of the valve is switched by only the valve spool, an increase in oil temperature may be prevented, and oil pressure may more efficiently be used by shortening a flow path of the oil pressure.
