A method for automatic control of a triple-effect evaporator (TEE) with a dropping film includes measuring and regulating the concentration of dry substances at the outcome from the TEE by means of changing the consumption of the heating steam and regulating the pressure in a condenser by means of changing the consumption of cold water. Effect of a pressure-regulating contour in the condenser on the contour of regulating the concentration of dry matters at the outcome from the TEE is additionally corrected by means of introducing a correcting link.
