The image processing system may include a beamformer module structured to receive channel data from each of at least three firings; and, a synthesis module communicably coupled to the beamformer module, the synthesis module may be structured to: combine channel data corresponding to two inverted firings to isolate a harmonic component; combine channel data from one of the two inverted firings with channel data from a third firing to isolate a fundamental component; and, combine the fundamental component with the harmonic component incoherently.
