PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which information contributed to an SNS cannot be displayed on a map in a conventional navigation device and in a conventional information system.SOLUTION: A navigation device comprises: a map information storage unit for storing map information presenting a map and having one or more pieces of spot information indicating a spot on the map; an acceptance unit for accepting a map output instruction for outputting map information; a map information acquisition unit for acquiring map information from the map information storage unit according to the map output instruction accepted by the acceptance unit; a spot information acquisition unit for acquiring one or more pieces of spot information included in the map information acquired by the map information acquisition unit; a spot information transmission unit for transmitting the one or more pieces of spot information to a server; a contributed information reception unit for receiving one or more pieces of contributed information from the server; and an output unit for outputting one or more pieces of contributed information every time the contributed information reception unit receives the one or more pieces of contributed information. Thus, information contributed to an SNS can be displayed on a map by the navigation device.
