PURPOSE: To provide a no spark socket capable of improving the safety, by preventing sparks from flying.SOLUTION: A no spark socket includes a socket, a sensitive module, a controller, a switch module, a press stick, and a mechanical switch. The sensitive module includes an emitter, and a receiver. The receiver receives infrared light emitted from the emitter via a light guide element module and a through hole on the slot of the socket, and generates the sensing results based on it. The press stick is pressed by the plug, when the plug is inserted into the socket. The mechanical switch is controlled by the press stick, to generate a first signal. The switch module is controlled by the controller to transmit the AC power, provided by an urban energy system, from the controller to the socket. The controller determined whether or not the plug is inserted into the socket, based on the sensing results and first signal, and enables or disables the switch module.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
