PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate operation in the case of combining a plurality of controllers for use in a game device using the plurality of controllers usable as stand alone bodies or in combination.SOLUTION: Gun-type controllers 12L, 12R are usable as stand alone bodies and also usable in an integral operation of a tandem style of combining both in a vertical direction or a side style of combining both in a lateral direction. In the tandem style, a fitting mechanism (protrusion) 44 of the gun-type controller 12R is fitted into a fitting mechanism (recess) 34 of the gun-type controller 12L to perform positioning. A prism and a magnet are arranged inside the fitting mechanism (recess) 34, and a prism sensor and a steel plate are arranged inside the fitting mechanism (protrusion) 44. In the tandem style, when detected by the prism sensor, the magnet is attracted to the steel plate to hold a positional relationship between both of the gun-type controllers. |
